GET INVOLVED

Every living tradition grows through the people who choose to carry it forward.

WHAT PARTICIPATION MEANS

Whether you are taking your first steps or deepening years of practice, there is a place for you in the life of the Council.

There is no single way to take part in a living tradition. Some people learn. Some contribute their skills quietly behind the scenes. Some come to experience a gathering. Some choose, over time, to belong to the community itself. Every form of participation strengthens the tradition and helps carry it forward.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

There are many ways to take part in the life of the Council. Membership is one of them — the way someone chooses to keep walking with this community over time.

Events

Naad Yoga is best understood in the room. Attend a gathering, a retreat, or an evening of shared practice, and encounter the tradition as it is lived.

Council Contributors

Communities are built by people who give. Council Contributors offer their skills, time, and care in support of the Council's work — from hospitality and events to writing, research, and administration.

Membership

Membership is the Council’s ongoing relationship with those who choose to walk with this community over time. Many people first encounter the Council through a programme, an event, or by volunteering. Membership is how they choose to keep walking with the community over time.
Belong

Membership is not a measure of expertise. It is an expression of relationship.

MANY WAYS, ONE TRADITION

No one is asked to carry this tradition alone, and no one is asked to carry all of it.

A person who attends a first gathering and never returns has still taken part. A person who volunteers for years without ever formally joining has still helped carry the tradition forward. And a person who chooses membership has simply decided, in their own time, that they wish to belong to this community as it continues.

None of these is a lesser form of participation. Each is simply a different relationship to the same living tradition.

LOOKING AHEAD

As the Council grows, new ways of participating will emerge, including mentorship, research collaborations, scholarships, and international initiatives.

As the council continues to grow, the Council will also establish an Affiliate Communities pathway, enabling organisations committed to authentic Naad Yoga practice and aligned with the Council’s standards to become formally affiliated while remaining deeply rooted in their own local communities.

Every community begins with someone choosing to take part.
Whether you come to experience, learn, contribute, or belong, your participation becomes part of the continuing story of Naad Yoga.
