Programmes

Every programme begins with practice. Every practice begins with presence.

learning together

The Council’s programmes support the ongoing study, practice, and stewardship of Naad Yoga. Some are centred on shared practice, others on mentorship, community, or professional development. Together, they create pathways for learning that deepen through practice and over time.

What the Council Practices

The Sunniai Collective

A gathering of musicians and practitioners bringing Naad Yoga into public performance — beginning in 2027 with concerts in cities around the world.

Turn The Light On

A practice or teaching within the Council's disciplines centered on awakening inner awareness through sound.

Dukh Bhanjan - Leaders

Those trained to hold and lead Dukh Bhanjan gatherings, entrusted with carrying this practice faithfully into their own communities.

Naad Yoga

The foundational discipline of the Council — the yoga of sound as taught by Guru Nanak and carried forward by Professor Surinder Singh, using Raag and sacred sound for physical, mental, and spiritual balance.

Sound Therapy

The therapeutic application of Naad — using sound, vibration, and Raag to support healing, regulation, and wellbeing in the body and mind.
looking ahead

As the Council grows, new programmes will emerge alongside the tradition they are here to serve. Future initiatives may include mentorship, practitioner development, research collaborations, youth programmes, and international exchanges.

participation

Most Council programmes are open to members unless otherwise noted. Some programmes are intended for all members, while others may have specific prerequisites or areas of focus.

the conditions for learning

The Council believes that learning flourishes through regular practice, thoughtful guidance, community, and time. Through its programmes, the Council cultivates the conditions in which understanding can deepen.

Every programme is an invitation to continue the journey. We look forward to practising with you.
What you practise here does not end with you. It becomes part of what the Council carries forward.
